Benefit Hospital East Earns Distinguished Hospital Award

Cedar Rapids, IA - Benefit Hospital East, a Benefit Health System hospital, has been honored for service excellence with the J.D. Power and Associates Distinguished Hospital Program award. This award recognizes the hospital's commitment to provide an outstanding patient experience.

The distinction, which is determined by surveying a random sample of Benefit Hospital East patients, means that Benefit Hospital East exceeds the national benchmarks for overall patient satisfaction. The distinguished hospital program identifies five themes as key drivers: dignity and respect, speed and efficiency, comfort, information and communication, and emotional support.
