Jian Feng, M.D., Named Benefit Heart Center Director

Cedar Rapids, IA - Benefit Health System the leading provider of healthcare services in Cedar Rapids, IA, announces the appointment of a new director of Benefit Heart Center. Jian Feng, M.D., succeeds Louis Chiang, M.D., who retired in April.

Feng served as the operations manager of the Des Moines Medical Center's Heart Center for 15 years. While in this position, she was responsible for the administration, coordination and overall operations of a multi-disciplinary heartcenter.

Feng has served on numerous professional and community organizations. She is a co-chair of the American Heart Center Leaders Association, a member of the Hospital Administrators Association, and captain of the Des Moines area Rely for Life team. Feng performed her residency at Harvard University and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialties in cardiovascular disease, critical care medicine, and thoracic and cardiac surgery.
